FAQs
What services do you offer?
1
A wide variety! But I specialize in Motherhood + Weddings. Yes, family, newborn, engagement sessions, and personal branding sessions are all part of what I do.
What can I expect?
2
I have a Services Guide that details my pricing, length of session and how many images you can expect. The minimum you can expect is 55 fully edited images for a one hour portrait session, but I always aim to deliver the most possible, while thoughtfully telling a good visual story in your gallery. You can expect a minimum of 500 images for weddings, depending on your desired package. For a personal branding shoot, we will have a phone call to chat about specific deliverables.
What makes you different?
3
I have a very strong eye for classic portraits and capturing the in-between moments. Like a classic Chanel flat, a classic Ralph Lauren piece, a classic pair of denim- these portraits are more than trends, they are timeless, yet modern. With a background in shooting fashion and music, that little bit of edge always comes out in what I produce.
Where do you shoot?
4
Wherever you want. I shoot in-home, but will always ask for photos of the spaces you want to shoot in first so that I can assess if we will get the best photos. I also have my go-to locations around Malibu and Calabasas. My main client base is is Los Angeles, Orange, Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties. If you were interested in a studio shoot, I will find the studio and it is included in my Studio Session rate.
What’s your cancellation policy?
5
I take a 20% non-refundable deposit to hold your desired date and time. Because so much planning goes into your session and there is high demand, it is important that the date agreed upon is honored. Of course, kids get sick, if we are shooting outside and it’s supposed to rain or the unexpected happens, we can absolutely reschedule.
For a maternity session, what is the best timeframe to shoot?
6
I have been there (two kids in!) and I capture SOOOOO many expecting mothers. I have found the sweet spot to be between 26-30 weeks. We can shoot past 30 weeks, and I have even photographed someone at week 39 and it was beautiful! But to be the most comfortable, you want to aim for that range.
Do you shoot outside of California?
7
Yes, absolutely. For portrait sessions, I have pop-up dates in specific cities for 2026. For weddings, I have a travel fee.
Do you shoot film?
8
Yes, I shoot on a beautiful 40 year old Nikon and its beautiful lens that belonged to my dad when he was a film photographer in the 80s. It is not a point and shoot, but a manual focus incredible piece of equipment specifically created for stunning portraits. My favorite film to use with it is Kodak Gold. It is an added cost if you were interested in it for your session.
When can I expect the gallery?
9
For any type of portrait shoot, two weeks or under. For weddings, 10 sneak peeks within two days and the rest of the gallery delivered within three months.
